My Stats

Here are my official 1 Year Stats:

Weight: 21 lbs, 11 oz (35 %)
Length: 30 in (55 %)
Head: 47 cm (60 %)

As you can see, I'm tall and skinny like my dad. Everything went well at my check-up. Mom declined the chicken pox shot, so that's one less I had to take. THANKS MOM! The doctor was a little concerned that I'm not mobile yet, so he has suggested some physical therapy to strengthen my legs. Mom's not sure what exactly they will do for me, but I have an evaluation in 2 weeks, so I'll let you know. At one year old I'm doing more signing than talking (only ma-ma, da-da) and I have 12 teeth! I also tried cow's milk for the first time yesterday. There's a lot of changes going on for me right now! They tell me that I get to face forward in my carseat now. I'll let you know if it happens...

Happy Birthday Granddaddy!

Today is my Granddaddy's Birthday. He decided to treat himself to a new car. He drove up to Washington, DC on Friday to pick it up. I think it's really cool and can't wait to go for a ride with the top down!

My Party!

Well, my big day was today. Today I had my first Birthday Party! It was a blast. I had fun opening all of my presents and seeing all of my friends. The babies that came were, my girlfriend Isabelle (pictured); Aidan; Charlotte; and her big brother (3.5), Bryant.

Everybody sung Happy Birthday to me and then I got to dig into my cake! I wasn't sure what it was at first, but then Mommy signed "eat" to me and I dug in! I ate about half of it before Mommy decided that was enough of a sugar rush! My neighbors, Jim & Cindy, did a thing where they placed a bunch of different items on a tray in front of me and the one I selected was my future. Daddy was thrilled when I chose the golf ball to indicate that I'll be a future golfer. Anyways, it was a fun day and I'm going to bed early because I'm exhausted. I'll try to put up some video tomorrow!

I'm a Big Brother!

Mommy and Daddy say that I'm going to be a big brother. We got to hear the baby's heartbeat on Monday. I'm excited and can't wait to meet the new baby. Mommy plans on posting information about the new baby on my blog. I suppose that I can share!

I'm a One Year Old!

Time sure flies...today I turned One!

My party is on Saturday, but I had a fun day today as well. Daddy took off from work to be with me and we had fun playing. We also got my one year pictures done this afternoon. I also found out that I really like balloons. Grandma had a toy with flowers and balloons delivered to my house this morning. We also got some balloons for me to take my pictures with! Granddaddy and Mimi also brought over a bouquet of flower balloons and two red dogs made of balloons. They are a lot of fun! Only one major downside to balloons...my sister Katie and brother Connor really, really, really don't like balloons...they kinda act crazy with them around. Oh well...they just can't wait until I can chase them around the house with the balloons! Hehehe.
