My Many Faces!

I have always had many different facial expressions...some cute, some mean. Last night, Daddy decided to try and capture some of the my different facial expressions.

This is me when I try to say something like "cheese":

Here I am grinding my teeth back and forth. Usually in response to "Chandler, do you want to brush your teeth?":

The Pond!

Daddy has been working very hard on our backyard pond! He finally finished it last weekend. Here are some pictures of the finished pond! I love attempting to throw things into it!

Labor Day Fun!

Grandma had the great idea of going to Pullen Park for Labor Day picnic! The weather was great (not so humid) and I had lots of fun. I did lots of walking and only went face first into the ground once (don't mind the knot of my head)! Here are some pictures of everything I got to do at the park:

I got to ride these little boats! It was pretty neat, but after a little while, I got bored and wanted to get out!

More work on the Koi Pond!

Today Dad did more work on the Koi Pond. He did most of it while I was taking a nap, but I did come out to supervise and make sure he was keeping the wall level.



It was so hot today that we decided to get in the pool and enjoy it. I can't believe this is the last weekend of "summer" The pool was a toasty 83, and I had a blast "jumping" in the pool to Dad and splashing the afternoon away.

Ultrasound # 2

Mommy and Daddy got to see me on ultrasound today. They were very excited. As you can see, I am very cute! My big brother Chandler, Grandma Diane, and Nanny got to come see me as well. Mommy and Daddy think that my face is not as round as Chandler's was, so maybe I'll look more like Dad. The pictures are 3-D which is really cool. Mommy and Daddy were so relieved to hear that although I still have a SUA everything seems to be developing normally. My growth rate is good, and I'm already over 3 lbs. Working on the Koi Pond

Today Dad and I started work on the Koi Pond. Dad decided that he better get going on it, since he wants to have it done before Deuce is born. There are a couple pictures of me helping Dad dig the hole. Once we dug around a little bit I decided to cool off and play with my water table. I enjoy squirting myself in the face, but as you'll see, sometimes it startles me!

MOPS Party!

Today we had a party for some of the families that are in my mom's MOPS group. There were 13 kids that came and they were all under 4 years old! We all had a blast. I let everybody play with my toys in the house before we headed outside for the pool. Some of the kids enjoyed the baby pool that mom and dad set up. I tried to get them into the big pool, and later the hottub to warm up!
